Posting a TitanPad to a Wiki

A working, editable TitanPad document can be embedded in your wiki so visitors can type directly on the screen. A public TitanPad can be used so there is no sign-in required. TitanPad does not have an embed code on its own, but the address of your public Titanpad can be placed in the generic code listed in the steps below.

1. Click EDIT on your Wikispaces page.
2. Click where you want the TitanPad to appear on the screen.
3. Click the Widget button.
4. In the Widget window, click the "Other HTML" choice at the bottom left of the window.
5. Copy the code below.The blue section of text in the code below will need to be deleted and replaced with the address of the public TitanPad you are using.

6. Paste the above code into the Widget window.
7. Open another tab or window in your browser, and go to your public TitanPad page.
8. Highlight and copy the address of the public TitanPad you are using.
9. Come back to the tab or window that your Wikispaces page with the Other HTML Widget is open.
10. Paste the TitanPad address in place of the blue address in the code.
11. Click SAVE in the Widget window.
12. Click SAVE in the Wikispaces window.

The same code could be used to embed other tools into a Wikispaces page.

Posting a VoiceThread to a Wiki

VoiceThreads can be posted here in the Wikispace. Here's how.

1. Finish your VoiceThread.
2. When it reaches the final page for creating a VoiceThread, you will see a button called Embed.
3. Click Embed and a window with many buttons opens.
4. At the bottom of that window, you will see a large box with a bunch of webcode. Don't worry about knowing what it all means. Just click the light grey button labeled, "Copy".
5. Go directly to your Wikispace page and login.
6. Go to or create a page that will house your VoiceThread.
7. Click the "Edit This Page" button.
8. In the Editor toolbar, find the TV icon. This is the Embed button.
9. Click it and a window will open giving you access embedding many kinds of files. Click "Other HTML".
10. Paste the text from VoiceThread into the box.
11. Click Save.
12. Add any text to your Wikispaces page and click Save.
13. You're done.
